Commitment

Regular - more than 6 months

Time Required

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Usually half days but sometimes it might be for the whole day.

Training

On the job training & Annual mandatory training

Requirements

  • Driver's Licence (MR)
  • National Police Certificate *

Cost of the police check is paid by the organisation

* May be arranged via the Organisation. Details to be provided on expression of interest.

Reimbursement

Uniform shirt and Lunch will be provided

The role will mostly be half a day, but we sometimes require a full day depending on the activities planned.

- Assisting residents onto the bus with carers
- Assist with putting wheelchairs on to the bus and positioning (Training would be provided)
- Make an elderly persons day
- Visits to beaches, shops, mystery tours, concerts and other day trips
