Volunteer tutors provide an invaluable source of learning for students, helping them learn practical English skills for day-to-day activities such as banking, shopping, filling out forms, making and attending medical appointments and participating in their new community. Tutors also help advanced students focus on their preparation for employment or further education.
No experience necessary, all trainings provided.
You don’t need to be a teacher or have previous experience in tutoring to volunteer - training is provided.
As an assistant to a qualified teacher, a volunteer tutor helps students in the classroom with reading, writing, oral communication, social skills and numeracy.
