Cairns Ecofiesta is back and we need Volunteers to guide the public with information about key event locations and activities, support event ‘check in’ via mobile phones or paper, social distancing and other COVID-Safe measures.

Immerse yourself in a day of stellar performances, hands on workshops and a massive eco-expo at Queensland's premier sustainability festival, the Cairns Ecofiesta.

Held in the city’s lush tropical parklands, on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics Rainforest, it’s your unique chance to connect with an ancient landscape and the vibrant community working for its protection.

Whether you’re kicking back to music, accessing the region’s leading experts and green tech, learning new skills or feasting on an array of locally sourced flavours – there is something for everyone. The day features a dedicated family program for all ages, with nature-play, VR experiences and roving performers with enticing games.

The Cairns Ecofiesta is the perfect time to celebrate sustainability in the tropics and will leave you inspired for a new tomorrow.
