We have an opportunity for people to be involved in the Volunteer Gardening Program at our Centre. This is an invaluable opportunity to gain an exciting horticultural experience whilst also assisting in the development and preservation of a tranquil space that supports the well being of our clients, families and carers.

As a Volunteer Gardener you may be required to perform the following tasks:

- Perform basic maintenance such as cutting grass, edging, manage weed control, leaf raking, mulching / composting
- Seasonal propagation – plant, nurture and renew trees, flowers and various other plants – including seed sowing, cuttings, potting up and pruning
- Tidy and maintain paths and walkways
- Removal of Rubbish from Centre Grounds
- Preparing and maintaining seedbeds and growing sites, planting trees, bushes, hedges, flowers and bulbs
- Work with and maintain small hand tools and light garden equipment such as lawn mowers, whipper snipper and pruning utensils
