Requirements

Skills required:

-Demonstrated experience working with Social Media
-Have a strong understanding of the current social media landscape, the trends and what people are interested in and how to engage them
-Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office and internet research
-Experience in a marketing and promotions role is desirable.
-Reliability in completing work within the necessary timeframes


Preferred volunteer attributes:

-Experience in Photoshop &/or Canva.
-Tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and discretion in dealing with staff and public are important
-Excellent interpersonal and confident communication skills
-Exercise initiative and work unsupervised.

Responsibilities:

Develop the Foundation’s social media presence with a particular focus on:
-Updating social media channels with reposts of relevant (mental health & suicide prevention) partner content
-Creation & management of original content for the Foundation.
-Working towards, and reporting on social media objectives and targets
-Comply with and utilise contemporary human resource management requirements and practices including workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies
-Perform other duties that may be required from time to time as directed by the Chief Executive Officer – Dr Edward Koch Foundation
